Sinbad’s
Tucked away in a below-sidewalk-level strip mall, this Mediterranean spot is easy to miss.
Popular Middle Eastern staples like smooth hummus, smoky baba ghanoush and spinach
pies (which are cooked on the grill, lending them a nice charred flavor) share center stage
with Moroccan specialties. Lamb shank arrives so tender it’s falling apart all by itself, but it
lacks the delicious flavor of the juicy chicken and kefta kabobs. Bring a friend one of the
smoothies from the natural juice bar and soon this place won’t be so underground after all.
